The Sergeant looked at Kain in astonishment. "What did you do with Blake, sir...?" "Stuff." The Captain replied, mused.

"Well..." she leaned back in her chair, getting herself comfortable. "My sources above ground have caught wind of some interesting plans." She paused briefly, "The Empire has gathered a search team. A team to search and destroy us." Shika dug into one of her pockets to pull out a rolle dup piece of paper, laying it out flat it showed the information she had managed to collect. "Apparently they want to come down here, search us out and any other future dragoon knights and kill us all. They are using Bulaimian dragons and i'm not so sure but I think those are the most vicious dragon ever recorded." She sighed and glanced over at their two dragons, she would hate for either of them to get hurt. Especially Joh and any others. "I'm not quite sure what to do right now." She looked to him in the eyes, she needed his wisdom and it would be his choice if he wanted to physically join in the resistance against this newest threat. How they would stop this problem was the first thing. Bulaimian dragons www.wizards.com/dnd/images/5n_gallery/90028.jpg

Johdalar looked at the young girl, his face thoughtful.
"Well, this is nothing new, to tell you the truth. Ever since we began this little movement called the Dragoon Knights, those bastards from Baron have been coming down here to kill us all. It's just the way of things, really. But that doesn't mean we can't stop them! We've done it countless times before...and we'll do it again."
He glanced over at Kan-Dam and Fafnir, who lay next to each other, Kan-Dam still gnawing on the dragon treat. Bulaimian dragons. That would be a little harder. The Bulaimians could sniff out any other dragons like a dog sniffing out dinner. They would search until they found, and then, when they found, they would most likely destroy. They were not friendly dragons like Fafnir and Kan-Dam. And they were strong...deadly strong. That, coupled with the mercenaries that would unquestionably come down with them, would make for quite a difficult fight.
"Come with me, Shika. We've got some planning to do. And don't even ask: I'm in on this. Without a doubt." And at that, he smiled at her, a friendly, paternal smile, and stood up. His armor creaked just as much as his bones did now, in his old age, but it didn't matter all that much. He felt that old excitement gnawing at him again, the feeling that battle was nigh and it was nearly time to fight again. That restlessness that came before the storm. The old warrior was like a dragon...he could sniff out the coming storm, and prepared for it like any dragon would: with action. The nervousness eating away at him, he led the girl out the door, and the two dragons naturally followed, much like dogs but much smarter. He patted Kan-Dam on the head, the dragon very large even next to the imposing Johdalar, and sighed.
"Shika, what we need to do is this. Get everyone you can gathered at the Meeting Place. I mean everyone. Men, women, children, everyone. If you need help, then find some other young Dragoon Knight to help you round them all up. We need to move them deeper into the maze, those that can't fight. And for those that can....we will lay the traps. They can't just barge in here and expect to take us unprepared. Let's get to it, setting up trip lines, working with proximity sensors and explosives.... I'll need to talk to the other Dragon Priests. We'll come up with as many good ideas for traps and sabotages as we can. Plus, do we have any spies on the inside? Anyone we can trust, who might be able to sabotage their little search and destroy mission? Get me as many names as you can, of spies and of active Dragoons. Meet me and the other Dragon Priests in the Temple in an hour. We'll be there."
He smiled, then reached in and gave the girl a big hug. It was slightly rough, what with his armor, but it was still a hug all the same. "Be careful, and take care of yourself, child. We're gonna need you in this upcoming fight, I can guarantee that. Ok?" At this, he turned, and spoke to his dragon. "Come on, you old coot. Time to get our butts in gear. Hold still...."
With a grunt, he mounted the big, muscular dragon, climbing up between his shoulder blades. Quickly, they set off at a trot, heading for the barracks first and then the Temple. They would collect as many Priests and Dragoons as possible, and head for the Temple.

At about the time Johdalar almost reached the temple. "Hey-a, Johdalar!" Zyphre bellowed a greeting to the older dragon as Blake dismounted and walked quickly over ot the dragon Priest. "We have a major problem Johdalar... I can't really stay but here... this is the latest plans from Baron." She opened hte compartment of her suit and handed over the generator blue prints. "As much as I'd love to stay at home over ngith i'm expected back the next morning avter completeing my 'reprinad' for insabordination.' She grined and htne laughed. 'Oh well, i'll see you later I really can't stay.'

"What is...."
The Dragon Priest took the plans, but the girl was too quick. She hopped back up on her dragon, and disappeared before he could really say anything. That was...odd.... Blake of course had been a student of his. She was an incredibly talented one as well, different from Shika but with the same deadliness. Her arm was amazing...she had always been incredible with a lance. And her whole demeanor was entertaining to Joh, to say the least. She was an incredible flirt, and he had laughingly had to reprimand her multiple times for her... overzealousness with the boys. Some boys didn't understand the limits of flirting, not at the age that Johdalar had had them, and Blake had definitely kept him on his toes in that regard. But she was cool, calm, and collected most of the time, which made her well suited for a Dragoon Knight role. All those who reached Dragoon Knight status were well-suited...just, some better than others.
He quickly opened up the plans and looked at them. He didn't know where Blake was stationed now, or what her duties were; he had no idea she was a spy. But he did know that she was up in Baron somewhere, and she had obviously gotten these plans somehow. But plans for what? He looked at them, and tried to understand them. Something looked...familiar there. Then, after staring for a few minutes, he realized what he was looking at. A MAKO generator! Damn, those bastards working for the Empire were closer than any of them had suspected!
He quickly slipped the plans into his armor, right around the chest area. Then, he rode Kan-Dam over to the Temple. Shika should be back in another half hour...he had to prepare the Dragon Priests for what was happening.

"C'mon Fanir, just a bit further." The distance wasn't at all hard for Fafnir to handle really, he just sometimes had problems being a little too over-energetic. Shika already had five of the best warriors she knew. They weren't Dragoon Knights but she had personally taught them a few extra moves and smarts. It comes quite handy really. Opening a communicator, Shika waited for the connecting line to come online. "Shika," the screen was black but there was certainly a male voice on the other end, "whats up?" "Whats your status? Can you get down to the temple?" "Can't. Not the time." Shika nodded, "call back later." "Will do." With that the connection ended and Shika looked back to the others, "Teigan can't join us boys." The men behind her simply waved their hands dismissivly and made disapproving sounds. They just didn't know he was a spy above ground. Shika and the others came thundering through the temples main enterance, heading straight for the meeting chamber. Upon arriving she found the Dragon Priests waiting. Slowing down Fafnir tossed his head with a snort. Unfortunatly the five warriors were all she could find on such short notice. Shika could not even find the other Dragoon Knights.
