Kage burrned rubber and went screaching off out inot the unpopulated area of hte country side. He practicly flew as he ushed his boosters otthe limit forcing Raven to keep very low. Kage was eager to be away too it seemed and wanted her out of danger as much as Ravage might. When he finaly slowed the city was a blurry outline on the horizon Ravage was beside her.
"I think thsi is definatly far enough away..." she glanced at Kage who grinned sheepishly and allowed her to dismount. Streaching her legs Raven retrieved her tool box and watched Kage rever ot his wolf form once more. "Ok... so now these assasins... think I know about them and therefore want me dead because Isuposedly know somethnig which i clearly don't...." she shook her head. "That is more screwed up then the beta generation Mavericks...." she looked at Ravage and smiled appologeticly. "No offence to you my friend but your predecessors were...hazardous..."

Ravage looked down with a "You need not apologize, my Lady. I know what my kind was..." and silently pondered on who would want Raven dead. He would check his systems, see if his scanners picked up anything from the fight, an insignia, something.

Raven frowned thoughtfuly andlooked back at the city. "I don't like this Ravage, not one bit. They seem to think I know who they are....what if... I do but i just can't recall it...." she paced then shook her head. "I think I need to get back home and look through my researhc notes... perhaps I encountered them a few years ago when I was researching Sigma and Maverick technology."
Kage hearing the word home reverted to his bike form and waited for Raven to mount when she did she glanced over her shoulder at hte other. "Axel if you have no other pressing bussiness you can come along. but thats up ot you..." Kage reved and then raced off acros the open land heading towards the junkyard and home.

Kat left Colby at home, she was actually picking up the armour today, for a nice surprise. The shop was in the darker parts of the city though that did not phase her. Entering the shop she nodded to an assistant, "I ordered new armour... Kat." "One moment please..." Kat looked around the shop, there were various weapons, armour accessories, and paint swatches all over. The place was quite clean though before she could think of any other words to describe the place the assistant was back, "Where's Sij?" "Oh he had to run some errands..." The assistant totalled up, Kat payed and took a look over the armour. "Looks very nice," Kat smiled, "please pass on my compliments to Sij." "Will do." With that Kat left with a box under her arm.

Axel watched as she sped off and addressed Ravage after a moment. "You're a Maverick, huh...? Apparently you know what you're capable of; but I wonder if Raven is fully aware. Your kind is prone to problems, I understand; but that matters little to me, really. The more chaos the better! Ravage, was it? My name is Axel - commit it to memory." The Sigma smiled and offered his hand in greeting.

The Maverick nodded and shook his hand. "I know what happened to my kind in ages past, Axel. The errors in our systems made us believe we were superior to human beings, angering us as we were just stepping stones, pieces. We believed, by hating, our power would usurp our creators... and we payed dearly." He paused a moment. "But I still ponder on if we inhabitted a virus our creators did not know about, or if we were just basing accusations by our own conscience, by our own will? We were once loyal... serving our creators with grace, love. We did not look down upon humanity. We walked with humanity. And yet, one day, it all changed. There was a massive uprising of Mavericks - hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of men, women and children perished." He closed his eyes, remembering. "My... master... was General Morgan Black. The kind man had vouched I was not crazy, saying I could help in pushing back my brethren... but why am I telling you all this?" He opened his eyes and let out a sigh, "The ultimate result was, all Mavericks shut down and destroyed, my master executed, and me hunted. I was shut down when my Lady rescued me. To give an estimate on my damages, my body was only repaired fully not hours ago."

"Heh, yeah, the whole Maverick Incident and the resulting War... My, how times have changed," he grinned sarcastically, noting not for the first time how a new generation of robots had taken to rebellion against their creators. Ravage cocked his head and Axel elaborated, "In place of Mavericks, we Sigma have risen. Only the most advanced Maverick could ever hold a bulb to any Sigma. Through all of these advances, they thought that they had worked out all of the emotional 'bugs'. But the same lesson is being taught again: if it has consciousness, there's a chance it might not agree with you. If it has a conscience, there's a chance it might corrupt. As with men, as with Mavericks, as with Sigma. The humans tend to stick to the clouds, away from the ground they sprang from and ruined. We Sigma stay here because we can, we don't necessarily want to live in the sky, and the humans like it better that way. There is a city-state - a great robotic metropolis - located in the so-called "Cradle of Civilization", in what was the Fertile Crescent in the Middle East. Alpha is the capital of Metron, and it is completely if not impossibly near 100% non-organic. The anti-humanistic movement is gaining power over there, a Sigma called Minos leading the pack. He has great influence on the government, but he hasn't got the Premier yet. Alundra won't stand for this kind of thing, and is trying to put down the movement in her city, but the human attitude and stereotype toward us isn't helping a damn thing... Ya know," he paused, looking directly to Alpha so many hundreds of miles away, "I'm kinda surprised she's still in power over there. Well, I guess the point of the story is you haven't missed much, Maverick..." His stare lingered toward the coordinates of the city, and at length he turned back to Ravage, "Well, let's get what Raven wants over with. I've got some things I want to check into." He pulled his hood over his head and turned in the direction of the woman's shop, breaking into a run only attainable by cybernetics; arms straight back from his form and cloak flapping in the wind as he dodged through the trees with precision.

The aero hummed beneath him, calming him with its monotonous atonal voice. He finally felt his pulse begin to slow down, and his breathing become deep and normal once again, as the aero moved quickly through the air, skimming along close to the ground as he tried to make his escape.
That had been a Sigma after him...there was no doubt about that. Nothing but a robot was so completely disabled by a remote mine. But why? Was it the would-be murderer trying to catch him napping? But how had the murderer known? Or were the Precogs wrong, and there had been no murder happening? No...No, Precogs were never wrong. Ever. That left one thing: He had been set up. Janx sighed, and shook his head. But WHY? What had he ever done? He was a lowly Precog Detective, just working to keep the peace. He was never involved in international conflict, he wasn't a Humanist or a Robotist, he sided with neither side. He certainly wasn't some kind of racist. Why would his own department set him up for a fall, and send a Sigma to do it? The idea made no sense at all. For one, why a Sigma? A human could have done an equal job, or a group of humans, if they had snuck up correctly. And why now? Was there something he didn't know about, something he had done to anger someone?
Thoughts raced through his head as he slammed through the city airways, until finally he reached the outskirts of the city. Open land! It was a rarity for one city-dweller like himself to see so much of the open wasteland that lay between cities. Humans rarely left their high-flying apartments. Only some on diplomatic or trading missions ever left a city, and they were getting fewer and fewer as technology increased. Automatons were doing most of the trading work now, computers with no consciousness but able to operate cargo trucks and ship goods across the land. Even people going on vacations had slowed down nearly to a halt. Everything you could ever need, from a spa to a virtual trip to a beach, could be found in the cities. No one needed to go into the wastelands anymore. No one but Sigmas.
Janx corrected his course and rocketed on through the air. Suddenly, up ahead, he could see it. A junkyard. For Sigmas, or at least that's what he assumed. Interesting...Something all the way out here. Maybe it was a Sigma base.... Well, whatever it was, it would have to do, because he was beginning to realize his aero needed charging. No reason not to say hi, and ask for a charge station. Unless of course these were dangerous people.... Paranoid thoughts skittered through his brain as he pulled the aero into a tight circle above the junkyard, the softly touched down in front of what he assumed to be the front gate. He didn't take out his weapons, but he kept his hand near his Wierding Module, just in case. After an attempted assassination, one tended to be a bit....jumpy.
He walked up to the gate, looking around for a camera or something to talk to the person inside.
"Hello? Anyone home? I'm just looking for a recharge....I mean no harm. Hello?"
He didn't dare go any closer to the gate. You never knew what unpleasantness could be hiding in there. He kept his eyes peeled, and waited.....

A blue bird like Maverik landed upno the top of the gate and tilted his head to the side. Blitz examined the person outside and shrieked before turning and taking flight bakc over the gat inside. A moment later after having returned a few minutes ago Raven came otthe gate with Kage at her side and opened it enough for her to step through. She had changed bakc inot her working overalls and her toolbelt which hung lopsidedly on her wiast.
"Can i help you?" she ashed placing a hand on Kage's head. If the man meant harm the maverik would rip him appart faster thne he coul blink.

Axel watched from high above, the Sigma perched atop a tall steel beam sticking out of the top of a pile of broken parts, his black cloak blending in enough since he was not in anything's direct line of sight. He, too, watched this man from under his hood. He looked bored, concluding that this human posed no threat. Not to Raven, anyway, and not to him... yet....
