YAY! Happy St. What'shisname's Day! I'm not Irish, but a teacher I had once said that St. Patrick's Day was the day when everyone in the world could be Irish. So today.... Gosh 'n begorrah! LOL Little known fact that I just learned like yesterday: Boston and the surrounding Suffolk County, Massachusetts, celebrate a day called Evacuation Day. It celebrates the day the British evacuated the city of Boston before the Revolutionary War when General George Washington placed troops on the hill above the city. It is considered a legal holiday, and everyone in the county who normally gets the day off gets the day off, school kids and workers alike. Evacuation Day also happens to fall on St. Patrick's Day. So I've always grown up thinking "What the hell? Why do Boston kids always get St. Patty's Day off, and I'm stuck in school?" Plus, Boston has some of the very best St. Patrick's Day parades that I've ever heard of. LOL I just thought I'd let you know how amazing Evacuation Day is to the people of Boston Massachusetts. In short...NOBODY FUCKING CARES! Have a nice day. LOL

damn.
I was too busy toting my little sister and her friends around for her birthday (which was the 18th) to notice the colors.
And you know what? I didn't wear green on St. Patty's day.
Because I'm not Irish.
Not even one tiny little smidgen.
And frankly, I consider that a feat. Because everydamnone is Irish.
