"Well, I guess you could say i'm a wanderer really. Don't have a place to go," she had turned and came a bit closer to the fire, "and true many get lost out here... but hey keep walkin' your feet'll get you somewhere."

But hey keep walkin' your feet'll get you somewhere... "Unless you freeze to death in the process - something it looks like you were well on your way to," he said with a lighthearted laugh. "You're welcome to stay here... It isn't my cave - I'm kinda borrowing it, too... Oh, and if I can be of service, let me know..."

"Thank you, hard to find great hospitality these days." she smiled, "if you need any rations i've got some here." She set her back down and pushed it towards the cloaked figure, where he could see various food items and water in canteens. Sitting close enough to the fire she watched the crackling embers, feeling the warmth return to her face. "What about you? You just travellin' around?"

His eyes went to hers, "I move south, to the sea. It seems that I need something that can only be found there... It would seem I seek something of a newfound hot commodity there..." He watched her carefully for her response. If she indeed had no connection to the Swords, she wasn't useful, but she wasn't a threat then, either.

"Oh yea?" she seemed interested, but she had something else on her mind. "The sea down by the south is a far way to go." she tossed a tiny pebble and watched it land just short of the fire. "Must be very important." Her eyes flicked straight to his. Just that look made him feel she knew something, wether it was about him or the swords, either way more had to be found out from this mysterious woman.

The Azure Knight's eyes narrowed ever so slightly at this as he looked away for a moment. He met her gaze once more with an idea in mind, "It is, I suppose. Perhaps you would care accompany me...? It will not be an easy road by any means, and I surmise there will be a great deal of trouble along the way, but you are welcome to come along if you like..."

Iria thought about it, she wasn't too sure if she wanted to accompany this man but there was one advantage; she would be safer from Shakrel. "Sure," she paused, "I have no where else to go, no one to be with. Might as well travel with you."

Iria suddenly yawned, "well I need my rest." She lay herself down, not too close to the fire so she didn't roll into it as she slept. It was when she laid on her back, propping herself up on her elbows. "Say," she looked into the fire only to look into the strangers eyes, "I didn't catch your name."

"And I didn't catch yours," he replied, a smile in his voice. "I am Arios Tetrachos, at your service..." Another perk of devouring souls - aliases were much easier.

"Name's Iria." she nodded, "glad I can actually hang out with someone friendly." She mumbled as she laid herself down, though there was still one more thing one her mind; Shakrel. If he decides to take full pursuit, he would definatly be able to find this place.
Far in the distance, Iria's worst fear came true. Shakrel and his army stood, watching the warm glow of the fire. "Right, lets go boys." The army headed towards the cave where Arios and Iria sat/lay unaware of the danger.

Behind Shakrel, a man popped up, a Frenchman with very poor English. "Kill?" He said, simply. Shakrel laughed. "No." The Frenchman looked sad. "Knife hungry. Sivech needs a victim, yes? Beautiful young victim, yes?" He licked his lips and a snarl came out of a rodent on his person. "Well... I suppose..." Shakrel conceded, "But if she dies in our custody, you will be a very broken man, Sivech." Sivech laughed in maniacal glee. "Hehehe... yes. Sivech please Master Shakrel, yes? Sivech and Rambo HAVE A NEW TOY! YAY!" The Frenchman danced off.

Iria couldn't simply sense souls or other things but when she woke up she looked over to Arios who at first was simply watching the fire, but switched his gaze to her. "Somethings not right..." Standing up she peeked outside, it was hard to see, it was still dark, though someone or something was there.

Blood dripped down Iria's cheek as a knife whizzed past.
"Yes yes yes, pretty one. It is I, Sivech!"
The Frenchman walked into view of the woman, a menacing looking rat on his shoulder. And the disgusting smile on his face made his intent all too clear.
"I haff not had such a pretty one in a long time, yes? Sivech needs to experiment, see vhat his knives can do to your human flesh, yes, your poor flesh, which is not marked at all! Zhat just vill not do, no no no!"
The Frenchman assumed a fighting stance, knives in his hands, who knows how many more in his leather armor. And the rodent leapt from his Master's shoulder to join in, his teeth bared. This mysterious duo best be dealt with cautiously...

Iria had boths swords out and swinging by the time Sivech has got into an offensive position. "He sent you didn't he?" she nodded her head towards the mountains. Their weapons clashed though she had to disengage to avoid being bitten by the rat. "huh, surprise your friend fights... could make mince meat out of him quite fast you know..." She dove towards Sivech and they both rolled to the snowy ground. Stabbing her swords he always seemed to get out of the way at the nick of time, which was quite irritating. Launching herself off the ground she righted herself again, not letting her guard down. "Your move frenchie, there is no way you're gettin' me."

"Pretty one, you need not worry over such petty matters, yes?" The Frenchman had a style as unpredictable as him, his body lithe, his joints doubled and his knives light.
He stood while his rat harassed Iria, and, in a flash, launched a volley of knives at the girl. The true attack, however, was him above her, a wakizachi in his hands.
