Gwynne let Matt lead the way and pick out a table looking at the menue she picked out Singapour noodles, fried rice and Lemon Chicken. Matt on the other hand ordered Yomen Noodles an egg roll and fried rice. While they waited Gwynne picked up her chopsticks and sighed, she never really could get the hang of those things, give her a knife or fork any time. "What are we gunna do after eating?" she asked examining her chopsticks with a divious expression, then sighed and put them aside she doubt she could ever learn how to use them, as she waited for Matt to tell her the food came and was set down on hte table for them to help themselves.

A Chinese dude, at the gesture of Matt, delivered the necessary silverware to eat, for those who were not educated in the use of chopsticks. "Well, that is confidential. We are going to a special place, untouched by mortality. It is a place... only us Hearts know about..." ... "...well, not really, but I have not seen anybody else there." He laughed at that, with a smile.

Gwynne smiled picking up her fork and began eating too though she paused after the first mouthful and looked thoughtfuly at Matt. "Ooo a special place, I can't wait to see it." Gwynne set herself to eating at a reasonable pace but she hadn't been lieing when she said she was hungery and the food hit the spot it needed too. By hte time Gwynne finnished her portion she was feeling reasonably stuffed and very content despite hte nagging and uneasyness that still tugged at her with the dissapearance of the town most of htem were born in.
Where had they dissapeared to all those families, her own mother, were they alright? Gwynne sighed softly and looked about the restraunt feeling her content and happy mood evapourating rather quickly and replaced by a thoughtful and dispairing one.

Done with his meal, Matt looked to Gwynne, his features thoughtful. "Hey, don'tcha worry about that! This is a night on the town! With the cute guy! Remember?"
*Flash*
Do I?
*Flash*
"...and just you wait until I show you the secret special spot! So, don'tcha worry, okay?" Matt made a funny face at that, but when reaching for his wallet, he yelped a "Oh shit!" and grabbed Gwynne by the hand, racing out of the restaurant. "Get on!" He said when they got to his bike. He forgot his and her helmet in his rush, and, when they were both on, took off. The girl heard Chinese behind them, the manager of the Asahi throwing his hat down. "I... forgot my wallet..."
*Flash*
Is that the only thing?
Yes.
Is it, really?
What is happening to you?
What is happening to me...

Gwynne laughed then and swung on behind him barely having time to shove her helmet on and her arms around his middle before Mat went off again moving down the street. "That guy is gonig to be really pissed when he comes back wit the bill and finds us gone!"
She squeazed Matt around hte middle in the form of a hug and then she wathed as the streets and hte houses dissapeared. Looknig at hte sky she saw the sun was close to setting... just hwere was this place Matt had in mind?
"How far do we have ot go to find this place?" she asked as they turned off a main road and onto a back one. Gwynne was beginnning ot understand perhaps why only a few people might know about it. The way to reach this special place of his had alot of turns and twists to it

"Almost there, babe," Matt said as the bike revved up a hill. Trees were as far as the eye could see, until they reached the top. He stopped the bike and hopped off. He helped Gwynne off and nodded behind him.
The ocean.
There was a ramp, of sorts, on the other side of the hill, leading down to a beach. The beach was white, the sand with no trash, no nothing. And the water was as clear as crystal, bunches of exotic fish swimming here and there. And the sun was setting, the horizon a beautiful portrait of reds, oranges and blues.

Gwynne just stared, taking in the view her face showed nothing but wonder and awe. she looked ta Matt and smiled throwing her arms around his neck and giving him a passionate and loving kiss. "This is beyond words Matt Beautiful doesn't even come close to describing it..." she let him go and walked down the kill stopping at hte base and then sat down, removing her boots and rolling up the legs of her pants before walking across the white sand and towards the water. The clear waters washed over her feet and around her ankles as it rushed up the shore before retreating, the sand sucking ta her bare feet as she enjoyed hte feel of the cool cool water against her skin. Gwynne wanted it to stay liek thsi frever, it was beautiful beautiful beyond words...

"Take it you like my spot?" Matt laughed as he walked to the side of her, barefoot. "Me and Doug use to come here all the time, with..."
*Flash*
Who?
*Flash*
"...and we played. We made a promise, not to tell where this was. This would be our place. But... when I met you... I decided... if you wanted it... that it would be our place," He paused, looking down, "And it would be our place, when I tell you... I love you."

Gwynne tugged at the small plait behind her right ear, she always tuged at it when she felt unsettled or uneasy. This wasn't a fear thing though Matt's words... Gwynne moved her feet slowly breaking the suction and turned walking up out of the water and over to where Matt stood. Standing before him her gaze cast down at the sand she took up one of his hands and traced a finger along the lines of it before she looked up at smiled, she felt very nervous uneasy but she knew how she felt. "I love you too Matt."
Gwynne smiled and reached up both hands holding his face between them and just kissed him, not the excided kiss she'd given him before this one went for longer, deeper had more meaning behind it. A lovers kiss.
When she pulled away Gwynne felt the heat rushing to her face and laughed, a nervous kind of laugh, almost giddy. "There are some moments you could just wish would last forever..."

And at that, he pushed her. "I think you need to cool off, babe," Matt said with a laugh. He loved her! And she loved him! How perfect. He looked down at her, her in the water, her soaked, and he joined her, kissing her on the lips. The kiss, so full of love, was passionate, tongues in on the action.

Gwynne had been shocked hwen Matt pushed her back into the water but she didn't get a chanse ot voice her indignation before Matt was inthe water with her. Her annoyance evapourated and wase replaced with a feeling of elation, hands sliding up under his shirt feeling hte heat that passed betwen them despite the cool water. This was intense for her...too intense knowing this was probibly gonig ot ruin the moment she pulled away and sighed, taking slow deep breaths to slow her racing heart and try and clear her thoughts.
"We ah... really porbibly should get back before they... send out ah... search party fpr us...." she smiled and then spluttered as a wave hit her. "That and the tide is coming in and as much as fun as doing this on the beach would be I'd rather not drown..." she coughed and slid out from under Matt standing up unsteadily in the water only to be bawled over as another wave hit her from behind submerging Gwynne again. She stood up a third time and moved out of the water sliding her vest and shirt off to wring them out. before sliding the still damp shirt back on. It clung to her like a second skin. Her pants were still dripping wet too so she slid those off and wrung them out as well giving Matt a sly grin as she slid them back on.
"Its getting ah late too so we should probibly get back before it gets dark...I don't much like the idea of riding back wet in the cold night... anyway theres always tonight..." she smiled and picked up her boots waiting for Matt to catch up. She just hopped he wasn't too dissapointed.

"Hey, I hope you are not thinking I just want to pop your cherry..." He followed and hugged her. "...I really do love you. I just want to hold you. I talk big, but I am not the horny bastard I portray." He winked and put on his boots, waiting for Gwynne to do the same. And they walked up the hill, where they got on his bike, helmets secured. Engine roaring, the bike shot down the hill and away from the beach.

Gwynne sighed and held on tight ignoring the chill that seeped through her damp clothing as they rode, it was more htne that however it was almost as if the temprature had dropped. Then Gwyne saw it rolling out across hte open land like a white wall. "Well damn me... look at that mist!" she pointed sideways holding tighter with her other arm as the mist steamrolled closer. It was like a white wave a tide of fog that looked dangerously thick.
"You might want ot slow down soon, that mist looks really thick..." she shivered and lowered her arm holding on tighter to Matt. she din't liek the look of that mist it didn't strike her as what one would call a normal fog bank, they rolled in slowly not at a speed liek this thing was... or maybe she was just mistaken, eitherway she didn't much liek the idea of being caught in it...
Then it was over them and everything was suddenly muffled, dense and the air was icy. Gwynne felt herself get goosebumps as the coldness seeped though her cold clothing. "Fucking hell it's cold!"

Doug poked his head outside, "well I wouldn't head off too fast, Skye. Why don't you stay for dinner?" "I couldn't go eat your food, I-" "Nonsense, I insist." Skye re-entered the home, and Doug led the remainder of the group to the kitchen, "I really enjoy cooking you know, and to have guests is a treat." When they entered the kitchen a dining area was on the other end, marble counter tops gleamed in flourescent lights, and stainless steel was here and there. Copper pots hung over an island counter, and Doug began sifting through his fridge. "Hope everyones hungry for some chicken and pasta." Skye smiled, "It is so kind of you to take us in, and even provide dinner." "Don't mention it." He grinned, "drink anyone?" "Water for me." Skye sat herself at a bar counter which split the dining area from the rather large kitchen, she liked it here, it felt her feel a little better about things. At least, for now.

Domonic had stalked off alone to the room he decided he would claim. For now, anyway. When it became night, he would be forsaken on the floor somewhere. Some way to treat the leader... He had stared out of the second story window for some time, knowing he should sleep, but not feeling like it. His mind was a storm of things, a maelstrom of thoughts and feelings that didn't fit in any particular order. He stood and glared out the window to the encroaching darkness.
